Lean All The Enterprise Workshop

 

   June 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 29, July 13, 14, 2010

LEAN ALL THE ENTERPISE

(Not just manufacturing)

 

 

Why the Lean All The Enterprise Workshop is different from all others:

         Emphasis on addressing waste in  Indirect Labor activity which is the second largest expense on the Income Statement

         In depth presentation of the impact of Lean Projects on the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow.

         Develop a Lean Sales and Operations Plan

         All Organizations will be addressed including Supply Chain, Planning, Scheduling, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Finance, IT and HR

         Emphasis on improving skills and productivity of people

         Emphasis on the next productivity breakthrough.  The “Brain Factor” applying Lean Concepts  to working smarter not harder.

 

The Deliverables

  1. Teach people the components of Lean Project Planning, and the tactics required to achieve the Corporate Objectives over the planning horizon.
  2. Teach people how to Value Stream Map All The Enterprise, not just manufacturing.
  3. Teach people the Lean Philosophy, Tools, and how to use them in the implementation of Lean Projects.
  4. Teach People how to apply the 5s process in All Situations
  5. Teach people how to identify and then Eliminate The Waste created by the amplification and hockey stick effects.
  6. Teach Lean Leaders what the Objections of Doing Lean are and then how to Answer The Objections Successfully.
  7. Teach people how to select and then Financially Quantify (tangible and intangible) high impact Lean Projects (Finance/Accounting involvement).
  8. Teach people how to quantify the Improvements In Productivity.
  9. Teach people how to Communicate the plan to others internally, and then externally with the key suppliers and customers
  10. Teach people how to Lean the Selection and First Year New Employee Training and Orientation Program (HR Involvement).
  11. Create Lean Change Agents.
  12. Working with the first group of Lean Change Agents, Teach The Entire Company thus achieving Critical Mass and a Sustainable Model.

 

This workshop can be delivered In-house (customized to fit company specific needs, content, time, etc.).

 

Who should attend this workshop? 

Everyone!  If you have little or no prior experience, this is the place to start.  If you have prior experience, look at this as an opportunity to expand and share this experience.
